I love reusing beautiful old clothes which is why I called my blog ‘reclothe’ meaning ‘to clothe again’. I grew up in England & learned not to waste anything being raised by parents who lived through the second world war. You ate what was on your plate, you always used up leftovers, you fixed your clothes rather than replacing them & always looked for bargains everywhere. Now living on Vancouver Island it just comes naturally to try & reuse as much as we can in our daily lives. Here is Harriet, a beautiful purse I made recently from an old Harris Tweed suit.
